Nestled right in the heart of Arizona, you'll discover the charming towns of Camp Verde, Cottonwood, and Clarkdale, situated along the picturesque banks of the Verde River. The Verde Valley encompasses approximately 714 square miles, strategically positioned at the geographical center of Arizona. One of its defining features is the Verde River, meandering through the valley from northwest to southeast, while being supplemented by the waters from Sycamore Canyon, Oak Creek, Beaver Creek, and West Clear Creek.

This stunning region is enveloped by 714 square miles of national forests, offering an abundance of scenic beauty. The town of Cottonwood, positioned between Prescott and Sedona, is enclosed on three sides by rugged mountain peaks that transition into mesas to the north.

The diversity of physical beauty in this area is unparalleled. To the north and east, you'll be captivated by the captivating red rocks and the striking Mogollon Rim. There is a $25 per day dry camping fee at Camp Verde Equestrian Center. Please select camping and number of days needed when registering for the event. If you prefer not to camp, any hotel in the Camp Verde area would be in close proximity to the event.
